Compassionate Ministry, the Arts, and Worship
Indy Vineyard Church has a long history of supporting and engaging the arts and artists in worship and ministry. In this season we are exploring the connection between the arts, worship, healing, and compassionate ministry.
We've been selected by Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, MI, for a 2026 Vital Worship grant, with funds from Lilly Endowment.
We're calling this grant initiative The Creative Compassion Project.
Throughout the year we'll offer a dozen events and activities for our congregation and community to explore and experience the connections between creativity and compassionate response, the arts and mental health, worship and healing. In October we'll host the 3-day Creative Compassion Conference. See the complete schedule below.
