Carrie joined the Indy Vineyard staff in 2025 after being part of the church family since 2019, when her husband, Adam Kasel, came on staff. She’s a mom to five amazing kids—Aidan, Harrison, Rowan, Declan, and Adelaide—and has spent over a decade homeschooling and teaching in co-ops, all while pouring into her children’s lives through education and discipleship. With a degree in Early Childhood Special Education and a background in both teaching and coaching, Carrie brings a thoughtful, nurturing approach to children's ministry. Her heart beats for children’s spiritual formation—helping kids truly know God, experience His presence, and grow in their identity as beloved sons and daughters. Carrie is passionate about creating a space where kids feel safe, seen, and excited to grow in their faith. She also loves supporting volunteers and parents as they guide the next generation in following Jesus. When she's not leading in children’s ministry or homeschooling, you'll likely find her spending a fun and relaxing day playing games, hiking, or talking about all the things with her family and friends.
