Indy Vineyard Missional Food Pantry serves those in need, both physically and spiritually, with the unconditional love of God by providing food, prayer and forming relationships with our recipients. In addition, our team offers Bible study and children's ministry for our volunteers' and recipients' families. Our hope is to see families grow from their current situation to a life of abundance.

The food pantry has been a part of Indy Vineyard’s outreach program for many years. In 2003 we started delivering bags of food to the apartment complex next to our church. Food deliveries expanded to several apartments in the Castleton area and the monthly food pantry was birthed. Community Nights began in 2010 — providing groceries and meals at our church for those in need. 

In 2017 our church partnered with Faith Hope and Love Community. Through FHL, our leaders and volunteers were trained to understand the deeper needs of people, providing both spiritual and physical food and directing them to refer individuals to other community resources for long-term sustainability. Food is donated to the pantry from generous donors, and received through local food services such as Midwest Food Bank. Our Care Team provides prayer for the recipients, followup with them and continue to lift them up in prayer. Through this training our Indy Vineyard Missional Food Pantry was born and has continued to be an integral part of Indy Vineyard outreach.
